Revit integration and titleblock
Hello,
I am trying to setup a Revit file with a title block to read attributes from ProjectWise and populate the titleblock on a sheet automatically I can get this to work with project properties but anything else does not work. I think I have followed all the steps in the readme but the project properties work fine on a Work in Progress folder and you cannot select an environment mapping for this folder. Also when I set the environment mapping on a published folder I get an issue saying it cannot update the file.
Have I missed a step or has anyone got any tips in getting this to work?

Import-PWDocuments change to long path
The Import-PWDocuments change in the latest drop seems to be forcing long paths. Can this be controlled with a parameter? I have some scripts that I have been running on a schedule that are not working properly now. I would like the option to use a relative path -relativepath on the projectwise folder.

Configuration variable adds quotes in path, disabling the Application menu addin for Inroads SS4 running Managed Workspaces
The MW loads, but Inroads SS4 doesn't add the Application menu. Investigation points to unnecessary quotes in the INROADS_PATH variable, Unable to lock this variable with correct path. when trying to load the guidgnlib, for example the path is wrong: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Bentley\InRoads Group (SELECTseries 4)/"/dgnlib/*.dgnlib and am unable to change it. However, without a MW applied, or load from desktop it works as designed. Still looking for a solution. PW: 10.00.02.320; Inroads: 08.11.09.872

Microstation Links to Projectwise Folders
Hello All,
I am attempting to create a Microstation link to folders in ProjectWise. The Link seems to work, but only opens a 'view' of the ProjectWise folder and its contents.
It doesn't seem to launch ProjectWise Explorer and take you to the active folder where you could open the folders files/content.
Is there a way to use the Microstation Link tool to open a PWE and access the contents similar to linking to a windows folder?

Open Plant and Microstation Compatiblity
Good day, all.
We are working on a Projectwise upgrade and one of the pieces I can't find much information on is the compatibility requirement between Microstation and Open Plant. We are also working on an Open Plant upgrade at the same time and are trying to pick all of the correct versions of all of the various Bentley pieces?
What version of Microstation is compatible with what version of OpenPlant? In the PW compatibility matrix I see that OpenPlant Modeler V8i SS6 update 3 is compatible with PW CE update 1.1 and OpenPlant CE is compatible with PW CE update 3.1. But how do the Microstation versions come into play?
I can turn my questions another way. We are hoping we can stay on Microstation V8i SS4 for awhile as it is fully compatible with all the more current PW CE versions. But are the OpenPlant CE versions compatible with Microstation V8i SS4 or would we have to only move up to OpenPlant V8i SS6 Refresh 3? That backs off on the version of PW CE we can move to and has impacts with Office 365.
Does anybody have experience with all of these tools in the same environment?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

ProjectWise Connect Edition File Limitations for a single Datasource
Hello,
We are thinking of using ProjectWise Connect Edition version 10.00.03.49 to store approx. 10 million files within a single datasource. Is this feasible or does ProjectWise have some limitations on how many files or how big of a datasource can be in size?
ProjectWise is installed on Windows 2016 Server and uses Microsoft SQL Server 2016.

Using ProjectWise Hyperlinks in AutoCAD

Just looking to find out if it's possible to add ProjectWise hyperlinks to documents / drawings etc into an AutoCAD block. So far we have had no luck and from the below link a couple of years ago this wasn't possible. Wondered if there was a change since then. Many thanks.

opening Bentley mechanical files on projectwise
We are using Projectwise (version 08.11.07.443 commercial release) with Bentley Mechanical SS1 files (version 08.11.07.
The project was all modelled offline with extractions and drawing files uploaded are a later date
Now that its all there some minor changes are required so we have tried to do those on line
the files do have the application selected in the file properties tab
our workaround is to continue working offline and upload manually
Does anyone know if there is a fix for this problem?

MMC could not create the snap-in Error
Hello good ProjectWise Community,
I just started to go deeper in PW, and I have this error when I isntalled ProjectWise Administrator on windows server 2008 r2,
When I start PW Admin the interface tells me that "MMC could not create the snap-in" and it's pretty much useless to be honest.
I'm using PWAdmin versión 100003140 and PW Integration Server version 100003140

Does the passport utilise a web client and the visa the explorer client?
Does the passport give enough functionality to an office based project team on large scale civil infrastructure projects?

ProjectWise Interface Checkbox
Hi, has anyone been able to get a checkbox on a ProjectWise interface to function, as documented? In the PW Admin help it states that the checkbox - If set, the attribute's control appears as a check box which can either be turned on or off (checked or clear). I seem to be having a 3rd state (indeterminate). I've set a default value and have limited the values. not sure if there is something else i've missed?

Document Set's
Hi,
I'm in the process of implementing Projectwise in our company.
One of the functions I have tested and found quite interesting is "Document Set's"
It's a cool function to gather all coherent documents into a document set, but I have discovered a problem that is a stopping factor.
When checking all the documents to be "lock to version" the document link in the document set is locked to a specific version. But what happens when a locked version is updated i Projectwise ? I will expect the link to the document in the document set to point to the exact version of the document added into the document set in the first place. But NO. It disappears when the document gets changed into a new version !!!
Now I have a document set that isn't complete. I can't see which file the is changed as it's just gone from the set. In a document set with 100 or more documents It's impossible to figur our which file I will have to find and insert into the document set.
Question: Does anyone have an answer to this problem ?

Bentley ProjectWise Business Process Template for BS1192
Question to Bentley...
when updates are made to the Bentley ProjectWise Business Process Template for BS1192, is that released with each version of the PW Administrator? I am assuming it is, as I cannot find a separate download.
My point is that I have some DS that have differences in the way the Rev/Ver are being updated, and I can only assume it is because of different versions of the BS1192
So is there an separate install, so I can update my existing DS, or is this a Professional Services engagement, to note I am referring to hosted environments.

Restricting file types which can be uploaded to ProjectWise
Hi, is it possible to restrict the types of files that can be uploaded to ProjectWise?
Example, after a security review it was highlighted that .EXE files should be restricted from being uploaded to PW
Any help would be appreciated.
